Timing belt pulleys

We offer a variety of taper-lock bushings with pre-drilled shaft bores and keyways. Taper-lock bushings allow for the quick and easy mounting and dismounting of sprockets, V-belt pulleys, and timing belt pulleys on a shaft. We stock a wide selection of taper-lock timing belt pulleys in HTD profiles (5M, 8M, and 14M) and in inch pitch (L and H profiles). Taper-lock bushings are manufactured from steel or cast iron and are available in sizes from 1.008 to 5.050, with standard shaft diameters from Ø9 to Ø100 mm. Our standard bushings are 3- or 4-hole designs, ensuring both good balance and secure mounting. Cylindrical taper-lock bushings are also available upon request. Both cylindrical and tapered taper-lock bushings are available in standard sizes from stock.

Installation: Carefully clean the bore and tapered sections before installing the bushing into the pulley. When installing the clamping bushing, tighten the screws by hand so that they encircle the shaft and pulley. One of the advantages of this technique is that the pulley can be quickly and easily mounted and dismounted from the shaft, reducing axial misalignment. Screws are included.
