FBWSGNR001 Welding Kit with Storage Bag:
In some cases, it's not possible to disassemble an application when a round belt needs replacing, making it necessary to service the belt on-site – directly at the machine. Our FBWSGNR001 welding kit contains everything you need to weld a round belt in place, minimizing time-consuming downtime and associated costs. The lifespan of a round belt depends on the quality of its weld. Therefore, it's crucial to use the correct tools when welding a round belt to ensure optimal conditions for maximum service life and power transmission.

For joining round belts, we offer a wide selection of welding tools, sold individually or as complete sets. For example, try our FBWSGNR001 welding kit, which contains all the elements needed to weld an open round belt. The PU profile welding kit can be used for round belt profiles up to Ø 12 mm (25/64 inches).

The kit contains the following:
- 1 SG02 welding iron
- 2 guide clamps FZ01
- 1 edge cutter SE02
- 1 storage bag

SG02 Welding Torch:
The welding torch included in the kit welds the round belt together using heat. This is achieved by heating the ends of the torch, which melt and form the joint. The best results are achieved at a temperature of 290°C (285 to 300°C). The welding torch and clamps can be purchased separately in other versions for belts made of different materials, thicknesses, and/or widths.

We also offer other types of tools for assembling round belts. For example, try our metal alloy band for joining hollow round belts or our RS02 friction welding machine, which joins the belt through friction. Please note that a metal alloy joint does not have the same strength as a welded joint.

FZ01 guided clamps:
Clamps are required to secure round belts during and after welding, as they hold the two ends to be welded together. These clamps can be used for all common PU and TPE profiles up to Ø10 mm and V-belts up to 10x6 mm (Z-profile). The ends of the belt are secured with the clamps and then heated with the welding torch. Afterward, the welding torch is removed, and the hot ends are pressed/held together by the clamps. The clamps can be removed once the material has cooled.
