We carry a wide selection of open timing belts in the Eagle profile with metric tooth pitch. Eagle profiles are available in pitches of 5M, 8M, 10M, and 14M, which indicate the metric distance between the individual teeth. Eagle profiles feature a self-guiding, flat tooth profile (tractor tire tread) that centers and secures the timing belt position on the pulley (eliminating the need for guide flanges). The belt's curved tooth profile, combined with the arrow-shaped tooth pattern, makes Eagle profiles extremely quiet (down to 15 decibels) by absorbing vibrations and shocks. The belt's self-guiding properties ensure stable belt tension and high power transmission, making them particularly suitable for linear guides and vertical drives.
 
Open-profile timing belts in the Eagle profile are manufactured from wear-resistant white thermoplastic polyurethane with a hardness of 92 Shore A, reinforced with either steel or Kevlar. We also offer HP (high power) and XHP (extra high power) reinforcements. The durable thermoplastic material is resistant to oil, grease, and gasoline, and temperature-resistant from -25°C to +80°C. Eagle profiles are available in standard widths from stock; other brake widths can be manufactured upon request. 5M is available in widths of 12 and 25 mm. 8M is available in widths of 16, 25, 32, and 50 mm. 10M is available in widths of 25, 32, 50, 75, and 100 mm. 14M is available in widths of 35, 52.5, 70, and 105 mm.

Eagle timing belts can be advantageously coated with nylon, either on the teeth or the back of the belt, improving running characteristics and reducing noise and friction. An open Eagle timing belt can be assembled into an endless belt with the desired dimensions. This can be done mechanically or by welding the belts together. The timing belt can be manufactured with welded fingers, or you can purchase your own welding equipment and weld the belt yourself. Alternatively, you can have the timing belt mechanically assembled using pin mounting, allowing for quick and easy installation directly on the application.
