Timing belts

The thermoplastic PU material used to manufacture PU timing belts can be welded together to form an endless timing belt. Depending on the timing belt profile, a finger joint is 80 or 120 mm long and can achieve a tensile strength of up to 60% of that of a continuous timing belt without a joint.

Welding an open toothed belt creates an endless toothed belt of any desired length. These welded PU toothed belts are used in conveyor systems. They can be equipped with drive lugs or coatings of your choice.
