
Poly-V BELT PM PROFILE (9.40MM)
We distribute a wide range of friction and drive belts, also known as poly-V belts or ribbed belts, which combine the advantages of flat belts and V-belts. The PIX-X'ceed® range of PM/M profile belts features a series of longitudinal ribs that ensure high tensile strength with a power transmission of up to 98%, as the ribs center the belt on the pulley. Despite the belt's high power transmission, PM/M profile ribbed belts are very flexible, making them suitable for small pulleys up to Ø180 mm, as well as for use in turned and compact drives. PIX-X'ceed® belts are manufactured with fiberglass reinforcement and from wear-resistant neoprene rubber with a thickness of 13.3 mm, which contributes to quiet operation by absorbing shocks and vibrations. The durable elastomer material withstands temperatures from -25°C to +100°C and is also oil-resistant and antistatic according to ISO 1813.
We offer a wide range of PM/M profile multi-ribbed belts with a 9.40 mm pitch, which indicates the metric distance between ribs. This profile is available in standard widths from 2 to 52 ribs and standard lengths from 950 to 5029 mm. The number of ribs affects the belt's tensile strength; the more ribs a belt has, the more power it can transmit. PM/M series belts can be used in high-speed drives up to 50 m/sec and in applications with extreme gear ratios up to 1:30. They are used in a variety of drive applications, such as paper mills, granulators, turbines, and excavators. PIX-X'ceed® poly-V belts in the PM/M profile can be advantageously coated with a finish of your choice, which improves running characteristics and reduces noise.
