PU coating for timing belts

Description

Polyurethane coating, often used to create additional height on timing belts or to give the timing belt an additional wear layer on the front of the belt, which has a hardness of 85 Sh.A, almost the same as the timing belt itself, which is 92 Sh.A, is a good choice to ensure a long service life for the timing belt under high load.

CUSTOM-CUT TIMING BELT

Coated timing belts are most commonly used for transport and handling tasks in production. The properties of the timing belt can be modified by coating it with various materials such as PU, rubber, foam, PVC, Teflon, leather, nylon, or silicone. This results in higher or lower friction, which improves the belt's grip on the product. In some cases, a coating also increases the timing belt's lifespan by improving its wear resistance.

Coated timing belts can be manufactured and delivered to your company within approximately 10-15 working days. All timing belts offered here are open or welded polyurethane (PU) timing belts. Upon request, we can also supply endless timing belts such as Megapower or Megaflex timing belts.
