
POLY-V BELT PL PROFILE (4.70MM)
We distribute a wide range of friction and drive belts, also known as poly-V belts or ribbed belts, which combine the advantages of flat belts and V-belts. The PIX-X'ceed® series of belts in the PL/L profile features a series of longitudinal ribs that ensure high tensile strength with a power transmission of up to 98%, as the ribs center the belt on the pulley. Despite the belt's high power transmission, PL/L profile ribbed belts are very flexible, making them suitable for small pulleys up to a maximum diameter of 180 mm, as well as for use in turned and compact drives. PIX-X'ceed® belts are manufactured with fiberglass reinforcement and from wear-resistant neoprene rubber with a thickness of 6.6 mm, which contributes to quiet operation by absorbing shocks and vibrations. The durable elastomer material withstands temperatures from -25°C to +100°C and is also oil-resistant and antistatic according to ISO 1813.
We offer a wide range of PL/L profile poly-V belts with a 4.70 mm pitch, which indicates the metric distance between the ribs. The profile is available in standard widths from 3 to 12 ribs and standard lengths from 952 to 5080 mm. The number of ribs affects the belt's tensile strength; that is, the more ribs the belt has, the more power it can transmit. The PL/L belt series can be used in high-speed drives up to 50 m/sec and in applications with extreme gear ratios up to 1:40. They are used in a variety of drive applications, such as pressure washers, piston compressors, grain mills, escalators, crushers, and brick machines. PIX-X'ceed® PL/L profile poly-V belts can be advantageously coated with a finish of your choice to improve running characteristics and reduce noise.
