Megadyne Megalinear - Open PU Timing Belts in T10 Profile (Waterproof)
We offer open T10 profile (Total Protection) timing belts with encapsulated reinforcement that protects the belt from corrosion. The profile is manufactured without grooves between the teeth, making it suitable for use in wet areas such as washrooms. This profile type has a wide trapezoidal tooth profile and a tooth pitch of 10 millimeters, which represents the metric distance between individual teeth. T10 profile timing belts ensure high efficiency and tensile strength, as well as increased precision, due to their wider tooth profile and stronger reinforcement. The profile is manufactured according to ISO 17396.
The T10 total protection timing belts are made of wear-resistant white thermoplastic polyurethane with a hardness of 92 Shore A and strong steel or Kevlar reinforcement. The durable thermoplastic material is resistant to oil, grease, and gasoline, and temperature-resistant from -25°C to +80°C. The profile is available in standard widths of 16, 25, 32, 50, and 75 millimeters. Other widths can be manufactured upon request. The AT10 can be assembled into an endless timing belt with your desired dimensions, either mechanically or by welding the belt sections together. The timing belt can be welded using a finger-joint connection, or you can purchase a welding machine and weld the timing belt yourself. Alternatively, you can have the belt mechanically assembled with a bolted connection, which allows for quick and easy installation of the timing belt directly on the machine.
