We carry a wide selection of open H-profile timing belts with inch pitch. Open H-profile timing belts are manufactured from durable thermoplastic polyurethane 92 ShA and reinforced with steel, Kevlar, or stainless steel. H-profile belts have a tooth pitch of 12.7 millimeters, which indicates the metric distance between each tooth. H-profile timing belts ensure high efficiency, performance, and precision due to their wide trapezoidal tooth profile and the space between each tooth, which increases the belt's flexibility and tensile strength. H-profile belts are specifically designed for power transmission and heavy-duty applications. Open H-profile belts can be advantageously equipped with a nylon coating on the teeth or belt backing, which reduces friction and noise and improves driving characteristics.
An open H-profile timing belt can be assembled into an endless belt with your desired dimensions, either mechanically or by welding. The belt can be welded using a finger joint, or you can purchase your own welding equipment and weld the belt yourself. Alternatively, you can have the timing belt mechanically assembled with a bolted connection, allowing you to mount the belt directly to the application. H-profiles are available in standard widths of 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 300, 400, and 600 inches, which corresponds to 12.7, 19.05, 25.4, 38.1, 50.8, 76.2, 101.6, and 152.4 millimeters, respectively. Other widths can be manufactured upon request. We also offer H-profile timing belts with extra-wide profiles, available in widths of 800, 1000, 1200, 1600 and 2000 inches, which corresponds to 203.2, 254, 304.8, 406.4 and 508 millimeters.
